Hello & Welcome, I'm Tylor :)

I'm a portrait photographer that specializes in families, couples, maternity, senior, events and branding.  I'm currently based in Denver, CO but open to travel ALWAYS. I love spending time outdoors, taking photos, being goofy, traveling, and hanging out with my husband & dogs :)

Since I can remember, I've admired photography. I've always loved to document the beauty that surrounded me - whether it's my friends, scenery, family.. There's nothing cooler to me than to be able to depict moments and physically hold them, feel them, & remember them. Every time I go back home, I love to rummage through my mom's picture boxes. Those photos that have been saved mean so much to me and it makes me so happy to be able to give that feeling to others.

After about a dozen cheap digital cameras, I finally purchased my very first "big girl camera" - I started taking photos of everything around me. My first *photography* love was landscape and nature photography. To me, there's an escapism aspect to it. Whether I'm taking nature photos or looking back at them, I feel I'm fully immersed in the moment - free of any burdens or I can escape back to the moment I captured. I love to incorporate the beauty of nature into my portrait photography because of this feeling. After years of learning how to use my camera, I decided to make the jump and start doing portrait sessions. Being able to encompass my love for people into my passion for photography was a no-brainer. Being able to meet new people and make genuine connections while documenting their love is a passion of mine and I can't imagine doing anything else. I started my adventure with portrait photography in 2018 and I quit my corporate job to pursue photography full time in 2022. Since going full time, I've been able to fully immerse myself in my business. Each year is better than the next and I can't wait to see what the future holds for Tylor Michelle Photography - cheers!
